Fire House Publications, LLC "Farmington Favorites"

In March of 2009 Fire House Publications, LLC published its first of 4 scheduled cook books "Farmington Favorites". Fire Fighter and author, Kipp Rix spent a year writing the cook book based on recipes he had developed over the years along with additions from fellow fire fighters. Along with publishing the book Kipp organized a promotional tour and fund raiser with a donation planned for the International Association of Fire Fighters, IAFF, "Fallen Fire Fighters Foundation.

The tour started July 22, 2009 from Farmington, NM with Kipp and Celeste (wife) on their Harley and joined by friends from both Farmington Fire Department and San Juan County Fire Department, and followed by Kipp's support crew. Fellow fire fighters rode to Pagosa Springs where they turned back to Farmington and Kipp and crew continued on to Littleton, CO for their first stop. Kipp and his crew visited 16 fire stations through 9 states following Historic RT 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica. Along the way Kipp and his support crew cooked meals for each department's on duty crews along with their friends and family.

"Farmington Favorites" will continue to be used to support a donation to the IAFF Fallen Fire Fighters Foundation with a portion of all proceeds going to support this donation.

Currently Kipp is working on the second of the scheduled 4 cook books "The Cross Marks the Spot" where a portion of the proceeds will help fund a donation to the Farmington Red Cross. The book is scheduled for release in late 2010.

In February of 2010 Kipp and Celeste opened Bar R Catering, serving the Farmington area with quality food and excellent customer service.
